Brought to you by the Boston Vegetarian Society, the festival will provide free food samples and admission and parking is free. We encourage you to attend this event and learn of ways to benefit the environment, help animals, and enhance your health and well being. From 10am to 6pm there will be speakers, 100 exhibitors and lot more at the Reggie Center. That's at 1350 Tremont Street, Boston and there is a subway stop located conveniently across the street.

Welcome to the Club

The NNHS Ethical Eats Club (formerly Animal Rights and Wellness Club) promotes consumer awareness, more specifically in the area of eating ethically, through raising awareness and moving to action. We aim to protect the environment, to help end the brutality of the meat industry, and to improve the lives and health of people. Our key issues are vegetarianism and veganism, organic food, sustainable agriculture, locally grown produce and fair trade, and we always are open to other ways to make eating more ethical.

By participating in the EEC, you will:
  • Learn a lot about many issues
  • Gain experience with advocacy
  • Have something great to put on your college application
  • Eat lots of really delicious food!

This year, we have lots of fun activities and projects planned!
  • Attend the Boston Vegetarian Food Festival
  • Get better, healthier, and more delicious food for the schools lunches
  • Organize an Ethical Eating Day at school
  • Celebrate International Animal Rights Day
  • Hold assemblies with the Environmental Club on Earth Day
  • Give presentations at middle schools
  • Write articles and letters to various newspapers
  • Have a bake sale
  • And more...

Our meeting schedule is not yet official and me may end up not having regular weekly meetings but instead have meetings as necessary in which case we will notify you of important information. Meetings are not mandatory and we will send out an email whenever there is an update or important information.

Check out our new website!
It is currently under construction and will be developing over the next week or so. There are a lot of loose ends but please be patient and we will fix them ASAP. In the meantime we're sorry for any inconvenience.
We are always open to feedback, questions, comments, suggestions, and new ideas so feel free to email us at any time!
